Group structure

It was established in 2010 in connection with an investment under the public-private partnership programme (PPP) in Podgórki Tynieckie in Kraków. The company designed and built a cemetery with a pre-burial house and crematorium. The gross value of the investment was PLN 24.5 million. The group has a contract to manage the facility until 2044 with the possibility of extension.

It was established in the transformation of the municipal company Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Komunalnych in Łódź whose history dates back to the 1950s. As a result, the company has more than 60 years of experience in the provision of funeral and cemetery services and, since 2008, cremation services. It is one of the two leaders in funeral services in Łódź.

It has been operating on the international funeral services market since 1958. It specialises in the cross-border transport of deceased persons and their ashes. It provides its professional services based on knowledge of international law, customs, rites and religions in different countries, and an extensive network of cooperating partners worldwide.

Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Komunalnych in Kraków (PUK) is one of the largest providers of funeral and cremation services in and around Kraków. It was established on 1 May 1992 as a result of the privatisation of the Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Komunalnych in Kraków. It was the first privatisation of a municipal company in Poland. PUK completed 1,011 funerals and 388 cremations in 2022.

Sotor is one of the largest funeral companies active in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region. The company provides comprehensive funeral services in and around Toruń. The company completed 1,029 and 921 burials, respectively, in 2021 and 2022.
